Évolution du modèle économique d'Études de communication dans le contexte du passage au numérique des revues en Sciences Humaines et Sociales

Abstract : The transition of scholarly journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences to electronic format is a milestone. As a consequence of this transition, the publishing environment and key issues faced by scholarly journals have been significantly modified. The actors of electronic publishing have introduced significant initiatives, creating various economic publishing models and publication formats through the development of electronic platforms. The journal Études de communication adopted digital publication in 2009, first with a policy of free access to the platform Revues.org, then by establishing itself on the platform CAIRN in 2010. The journal now benefits from the positive effects of its presence on the Web, particularly in terms of its reputation.
