La BnF au service des entreprises : évaluation, stratégie, moyens

Abstract : The Bibliothèque Nationale de France wishes to enhance its audience to Corporate bodies, so as to upgrade the Library's offer for documentation, renting and cultural events, and up its own revenue. By interviewing potential audience and comparing the BnF to other cultural institutions, we proposed, in the framework of project management, three scenarios for the implementation of an action towards Companies. The BnF opted for a solution aiming at audience segmentation, and services development for Corporate bodies under two aspects – a documentary Card giving access to the Library resources and a Management Office for rents and cultural events. It is based on upgrading what is already in place, and rationalizing the Library's “Business” activities. Our suggestion, deeply evolutional, consists in a first step towards the BnF's audience diversification.
