Abstract : This study deals with the evolutions of the detective narrative in American crime series on television. We will compare a contemporary series called CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) with series from the seventies thanks to the narratological methods of Käte Hamburger and the temporality of Tzvetan Todorov. We will analyse not only the narration of the series but also the crime and the point of view suggested.
